Conrad Weaver: Bringing the Mission to Life through Film

This holiday season, you may have been surprised by a Frederick Rescue Mission commercial on your TV screen as you watched your favorite show. Thanks to the great work of Conrad Weaver and his team at Conjostudios, we created three 30-second spots to inform the local community about the Mission’s programs and services.

Conrad and Conjostudios have been longtime friends of the Mission, producing banquet and event videos, commercials and other video projects for over 10 years.

“I love being able to be creative and try new ideas to tell the Mission’s story,” Conrad shared.

When Faith House celebrated the Grand Opening in December, Conrad played a crucial part in capturing the special event by interviewing Governor Larry Hogan, filming the event program and taking several still photos.

“It was exciting for my wife and I to be part of this important day,” he said about the experience of documenting such a momentous occasion. “I’ve seen the impact a program can have in the lives of men, and now there will be help for women as well.”

After exploring his work, it’s not hard to see Conrad’s passion for storytelling through film. He considers it a “win” when he can combine his passion for telling stories with the purposeful ministry at the Mission. “Knowing that the work the Mission does actually change people and impacts lives for eternity makes the work that I do meaningful,”said Conrad. “I wouldn’t miss it for the world.” We too, look forward to this continued partnership!
