Faith House, a ministry of the Frederick Rescue Mission, hosted their annual dinner at Dutch’s Daughter on Wednesday, October 16th, with over 250 community members and leaders in attendance. The evening raised more than $130,000 for Faith House, which will be used to pursue the mission of helping women and children experiencing homelessness.
Many contributed to the success of the evening, especially the generous sponsors of the event. Dutch’s Daughter donated a delicious meal so that 100 percent of the ticket sales would go directly and entirely to Faith House. Also, during the evening, ACDi, a Frederick-based technology company, presented a check for over $20,000, which was raised at their annual golf tournament earlier this fall.
In addition to the food and fellowship that was enjoyed at the dinner, a special plaque was presented to Debbie Williams for her tireless commitment, steadfast service, and never-ending generosity to the work of Faith House. Guests also enjoyed hearing moving testimonies from multiple residents of Faith House and then from Faith House Director Terri Gray.
Thank you to all who gave of their treasure to invest in the lives of women and children in need of a new beginning. A special thank you to our event sponsors as well!
