Food

The Frederick Rescue Mission’s Food Resources Center serves an average of 300 people every day through warm meals for breakfast and lunch, bread, fresh produce, and frozen meats in our Food Distribution Center. Most of this food is donated by the local community, and it is used up very quickly to feed the growing number of men, women, and children in our community struggling financially to cover food costs.

For this reason, the Mission graciously accepts donations of many foods: canned goods, fresh produce, frozen meats, already-prepared meals or courses, fresh baked goods, condiments, ingredients, and more.

The Mission accepts donations at our main campus during business hours:

419 West South Street
Frederick, MD 21701

Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm
Saturday, 9am – 4pm

At the time of drop-off, donors may receive a tax receipt for their donation.

For questions about donating food items please contact Guy, our Manager of Facilities and Food Acquisition, at 301-695-6633 x 211 or email gmutchler@therescuemission.org.
