Frederick Rescue Mission Serving Thanksgiving Meal As Thanksgiving is approaching, the Frederick Rescue Mission is committed to helping families who are homeless or unable to afford food especially during the cold winter months. In addition to the hundreds of meals provided every day, the Mission will be hosting a Special holiday meal on Thanksgiving Day. Volunteer to help prepare the meal between 8am-12pm and serve the meal between 12pm-4pm on Thanksgiving Day. We also invite you to get involved by donating the following items: Turkeys, hams, stuffing mix, salt and pepper, instant mashed potatoes, pies, yams, canned vegetables, ground coffee and creamer and sugar, paper towels, napkins, disposable plates, cups, forks, knives, and spoons, side dishes that have been prepared. Items can be dropped off at the front desk between 8am-8pm every day of the week at 419 West South Street.
