For decades now, the Frederick Rescue Mission has been a haven of hope for those having desperate needs. One of the most prominent ways the Mission helps these individuals and families is by providing food boxes during their most difficult times. Already this year, the Mission has distributed 469 food boxes. But currently, we are experiencing a severe shortage of non-perishable foods and are forced to turn many families away because of the depleted supply of food.

We need your help to continue providing food boxes to families who cannot afford to buy food. Many families struggle with the choice of either paying for food or rent. Many are working full time to support the family, but do not have any funds leftover after paying bills. Children as well as adults may possibly go to bed hungry.

Ways you can help and be involved is by holding a non-perishable food drive at your church, office, or any other organization that you may be affiliated with.
