Welcome Aboard to Charlie Smith - New Member of Board of Directors

The Frederick Rescue Mission is pleased to announce the newest member of our Board of Directors, Charlie Smith. Charlie is currently the Chief Deputy State’s Attorney for Frederick County.

The Lord brought him to the Mission and immediately he felt connected and called to serve here.

"I am very excited about serving God through the Mission. Having grown up in Baltimore, I have seen firsthand the destructive effect alcohol and drugs can have on friends and family. I have also seen that the only way to true and permanent change is to fill oneself with the Holy Spirit, and commit one's life to Jesus Christ. So, I really feel God is calling me to help those at the Mission…" –Charlie
